With the WoW playerbase continuously dropping and so many people quitting

What do you have been smoking lately? WoW got more players then ever, and lots will be "returning" with the addon coming. And like if there are not enough player to generate at least a dozen of "hardcore guilds".

The playerbase may be going up, but the number of quality players is going down due to recent actions by Blizzard. Smart players notice this and quit, so there's a problem getting new players to fill the holes in top guilds. The only thing left to do is to merge, and that's what Nihilum and SK are doing.

It really amuses me when I see people make posts with a tinge of bitterness over things they say they don't care about. But let's face it, if you really didn't care, why are you posting your bitter-tinged posts?

You love this game, you love the people you play with (or maybe the people you don't, if that's how you play this game), you love to PvE, or you love to PvP, or you love to RP...
Someone else either likes something different from you and you get prideful over what you enjoy, or worse, someone enjoys what you enjoy to a much greater degree and you get slightly bitter, pretending you don't care.

People who post like this are the ones who make these forums very much like a comic strip with much laughter. =D

No offense but SK most likely merged with Nihilum strictly for financial reasons - it has nothing to do whether they have the quality of players available for them or not.

Sorry to be a bit late on this, but although i wish them goodluck i dont like them merging into 1 guild. Its like barcelona and real madrid would merge into one club. Where will the competition be from now? I always enjoyed the battle between them.

on the other side i don't think horde(nilhium or sk) guilds will get the 1st kill anymore as the racial of the alliances is just as powerfull maybe more than the horde now for pve...
it's good i think what they are doing because new guildes will get the 1st kills now

You basicly says that top guilds which proved to be top wont be world first because of racials which is completly unimportant during world first race. Important is drill, experience, good playerbase and free time. Not racials.

racials is also a boost of dps and Survabilite but anyway i think everybody know that
orc and troll have boost dps = getting the boss kill more easy
so other guilds who have the same skills and don't have orcs, troll etc could wype on a boss for 2% and loose the 1st place
undead bloodelf or tauren just have extra spell that they could use for pve much more than what the alliance had before

the world kill is sometime less than 1hours from an other guild

Thank you I already know all the racials as well as class skills and talents. If you wipe on 2%, it means you know tactic and you know how to beat that boss, also it means you can reproduce tactic or improve it a bit to beat the boss. IIRC Nihilum had some 1% wipes before they downed twins. Still they did it as World 1st. And I dont believe that they did it cause of racials or that racials had serious impact on this.
