Figurine - Shadowsong Panther In Wotlk

I just got a question regarding all the JC trinkets.

From the trainer I can learn ALL the other trinket's upgraded versions but NOT the upgraded version of the Shadowsong Panther one. As a rogue this makes me realy sad

Anyone know if it is in the game (drop or so) or if they simply forgot it (?!).

It's a recipe. You get it from Eldara Dawnrunner in Isle of Quel'Danas. Must be Revered with the Shattered Sun.

Rogues are OP they don't need more trinkets, so they took it.


Actually I don't really know but there must be a tied up reason regarding Stealth detection + somehow what I said above, you know how blizzard thinks, right.
I could be wrong though lol.

I would bet there won't be one until a later content update, considering the shadowsong panther wasn't available until Sunwell Plateau was launched.

the blue version of the trinket have been available for the whole time. to me this is rly strange...

No, you get the Dragon's Eye prismatic gems at this point as a cookie. That's the thinking anyway. They are fairly sic. JC-BS is a fairly sic combo now if you have toons to feed them mat's.

Shadowsong Panther was kind of a perk for just rogues and feral dr00ds though. The +stealth was hot. The best rogues have now from JC is http://www.wowhead.com/?item=42418 which is pretty lackluster in comparison to what the shadowsong panther offered. Sure, it can be equipped post 70, but the return on attack power will be pretty fail.

but thats the problem atm there is NO good trinkets for rogues or feral druids.. atleast not something that = the caster version...

I'd just go with a Sure footed enchant or something to get the Stealth perk. They seem to be getting away from giving us stealth or dodge. Kinda sucks, but I think Unfair Advantage, and how easy it is to buy up your Master of Deception now, has something to do with it.

it aint about other kinda of trinkets, it is about that ALL other JC trinkets got an upgraded but the shadowsong did NOT which i see as silly since it was the best trinket for me pre-wrath! :O

but well agree there will prob be something better...

and about the master of deception, all rogues got this, it is about having a better stealth than your enemy so u will spot em first

The Caster one is worse than most of the comparable instance ones. It lost all the stam and int, and gave hit, which for pvp (which seems like what your going for) its a decent bit worse, unless you get it for pure stam, then its only really a side grade.

I'm pretty sure you WILL NOT see a new version of this trinket

it basically become a MUST HAVE for any pvp rogue, and with this expansion they have gone right away from 'must have' professions. There are no godly BoP tailor items, or BS weapons.....or JC trinkets.
