    Cooking from 385-400

This period -sucks-. Everything is green, except for "Feast", which is yellow.

At 400, the cooking award recipes kick in, and it shouldn't be too hard from there on.

    Any hints/tips/tricks?

Also-- I hate chilled meat.... give us something else to do with it!! You make Northern Stew for a point or three, and then use it for feast, and some of the 400 recipes.. other than that, it's useless. And it replaces what would normally be useful meat drops... which still exist, just in much smaller numbers. Blegh.

If you fish, it is very easy. I did a little bit of fishing and I am at 405 cooking at lvl 71. If not I am not sure what to suggest, other than buy some off the AH or ask a fisherman friend.

Did you just cook the green trainer recipes up to 400?

And yeah, I don't fish, but I can work around that.

Northern Stew is used for one of the cooking dailies.

Ya that is what I did, it was probably 1 skill point every 4-5 fish cooked.
