Runeforging Question

Since I have yet to go get my copy of wotlk there is something that I have been wondering that I have yet to be able to try out myself. Are you able to put the Runeforging enchants on any weapon or just the Rune Blade? I think it would only make sense that it could be any weapon, but just wanted to be certain.

You can Runeforge any weapon.

you can runeforge whatever but the act of doing so prevents another character from using it
