with my current gear with a almost full unholy build i can sustain at least 3k dps bursting around 5-6k on naxx aoe pulls... but everyone knows those dont count.

I put out 4.9-5k dps on Patchwerk, Unholy 2h DK.
Im around 4k on the most bosses though.

Alright so here we go.

Setting the mood.

Heroic Sartharion (25 man).

Fully raid buffed, no flasks, food buff.

This was not AOE damage, I never used pestilence (I was going for testing my dps on 1 target, the raid easily handled all the adds).

Entire fight, sustained DPS 2921 dps.

Bloodlust + DRW + Hysteria - Bursted up to 4100-4200 dps.

And the damage is just going to get better, my gear is heroic blues and a crappy heroic weapon.

Oh Did I mention DUAL WIELD.

So for all those DKs out there that think that Dual wield is not viable in pve raid dps...
I was #1 on damage by 8%...about 300k above the nearest single target dps.

Don't fret DW DKs, once you get your rotation down, your golden.

Gratz...? In my 2h frost PVP spec i can sustain 2900 dps. Now... If I actually specced for PVE and roll with 51/0/20 i would be well over 3k.

apart from that whenever tjhe post is, sustaining some 2900 dps in heroic blues isn't that bad ^^

but i can't really see any point to argue besides the love for it )
