Fire Leaf not working as intended?

Can any herbalist confirm if this is a bug or w/e...
Fire Leaf is herb that's sposed to be increasing our AP for 400 but when ever i use it i actually don't see the AP increase.
Was trying to find out more about this but so far without result.

I just used one, AP showed up on my character screen, armor was 0. *shrug*

Tested myself again and yes armor was 0 but range attack power hasn't changed at all....
Only got 400 melee ap increase.
Maybe i wasn't specific enough in my first post-I'm hunter and tool tip says " Reducing your armor buy 100% but increases attack power buy 400 for 10 sec"...
So i assumed it doesn't matter if it's melee or ranged.
Hopefully they will fix this soon.

Don't you think it's just because it don't show up in the character sheet the right place?

According to WowHead spellinformation it's Mod Attack Power , which is the same like Trueshot Aura uses.

Did it increase your damage?
