What sort of DPS is your spriest doing

Priest in my guild constantly pulls 4k+ DPS in our 25-mans. I just figured shadow priests were OP right now, but from what I gather in this thread she just basically kicks ass at her class.

4k dps is average, and intended average.

Hunters were op, since they did 5k in level 70 gear.

When we're doing 6-7k on Patchwerk, we can start to talk OP dps.

Right now I just want them to fix our pvp issues

tomorrow will be the next Patchwerk (25)... 5k i'm coming :P

well we are going into vacations mode so it had to be done yesterday

i think our dps is completely fine and is scaling well in all means, at first our dps was a little higher than other classes but it seems like we are all doing fine with dps in general and we evening out on most fights. i would say on patchwerk(raid comp/buffs avail) an sp worth his money should be at the lowest doing 3500 by now since gear is so easy to come byand with a great setup should push 4k with ease.

well this is the first tier , just let some water roll under the bridge ... remenber early tbc , sp's were godly and slowly lost all steam (BT/MH) all the other classes scaled alot bether then us gear wise and we just stood still in time! my prayers are directed to proper set bonus and good itemization.

wen whit only 210 HR (switched a hit trinket around) and came up whit 4742 Dps ... the rng god was very kind but i will never raid under the cap again ehe

That would be after 3.0 my dear. LOL.

The usual cap for shadowpriests was 1800 dps. Hitting 2k was exceptional SWP geared and included atleast one Bloodlust plus a large amount of party buffs (when they were party buffs!!).

clearly you don't play a priest or have any knowledge of the evolution of the spec/class , read my reply and then vomit stuff out of your cramped brain , the only 2k mark reported so far was made at muru whit a multi dot strategie , then 3.0 hited live and wow died abit inside.

I do about 3.4k raidbuffed on Patchwerk, I'd like to think I'm well geared. Obviously do a lot more in AE fights.

475 pts on be.imba.hu, 1900 (ish) spell power unbuffed, 600 (ish) crit, 300 (ish) haste. Hit-capped (290).

I think the DPS is pretty darn good actually - if anything, I think shadow might be too high for the moment. I'm on the top of charts almost always, occasionally I have a good fury/arms warrior beat me on some fights.
