    Re: Healing interface

XPerl and Clique. No question hands down the best thing that ever happened for my healer. Unfortunately as a holy priest I have button combos out the wazoo for all of our heals. But click healing is sooo much easier than target healing. Tho I know alot of pro healers rely on the "who is targeting my target" for when they heal.

XPerl is solid just because I love the deficit view of health numbers. The minimalist UI and other features are just gravy.

But at this point I would panick without both of these.

    Re: Healing interface

Yes Lenerien that is pretty much it. It allows a lot of personalized UI's. I can pull out blizzard raid frame, use focus, use target and target's target etc including my normal party/raid UI.

Cptrugged, Visual heal's engine if other healers are using it allows you to see incoming heals via the cast bar. You can see right away if a party member will be way over healed. While not fool proof it does help.

Ok i now have Clique and Grid. took me a sec to get grid up for there wasnt a button or on screen help

It really nice to have both of those. Healbot is nice but everyonce and a while it would try and cast a different spell. With Clique no issues

Seriously, 153.9Mb interface? Are you having NASA's databases in your interface?

    Re: Healing interface

I used my stand UI for healing heroics last night.

    http://web27190.web08.talkactive.net/media/latestui.jpg

Yet I had a problem with Quartz showing both long buffs (Fortitude, Shadow Protection), and short buffs that I wanted to check (Renew, PoM, PW:S).

I'm thinking of doing a DoTimer, or ClassTimer setup next time I try to play healer.

whats the mod name for the player/target frame? looks awesome

    Re: Healing interface

sraidframes works stellar for me, it looks like ct raidframes used to, but has alot more customizable interface.

Screw clique and healbot, i have a good mouse/nostromo combo that i use to click away heals (when im specced heals) and just manually click nameplates (using perl classic, less memory usage than xperl and i like the more simple look to it).

Decursive is really the only other "heal" mod i use, other than bar mods (not heal specific of course) and what not.

Get a good mouse with lots of thumb buttons, a nostromo n52 speedpad, and whatever unit frame mods/raid fram mods you like, and go to town.

Simple, easy, and no bloat from tons of mods.

    Re: Healing interface

    I use

    ag_unitframes
    Grid + clique
    bartender4
    chatter (or prat)
    quartz
standard raid addon like oRA2, omen, bigwigs etc.

    the rest is cosmetically

The bars are Pitbull, the 3d portraits are ZMobDB Advanced6. (Zuxana's Model Citizen)

    Re: Healing interface

I just put account time in about a week ago so this post is a little overdue, but it was on my to do list. I will try and get a SS of a live raid if I remember next week.

    http://s629.photobucket.com/albums/u...309_195418.jpg
This pic shows most everything I see in a raid, except I'm not in a raid. I put up DBM test to show that and I have cooldowns and buff tracking up like it would be normally.

    http://s629.photobucket.com/albums/u...309_155912.jpg
This is in AV just to show what multiple buffs look like and my grid in a 40 man.

My Grid layout is bigger than most other peoples I've seen, but I have virtually every HoT and priest spell shown easily.

If you have any questions, comments, or advice feel free to ask. Most of the addons are well known so I'm not gonna list them unless someone wants me to. And Fubar is at the top hidden also.

Addon - brief description/ location on my screen

XPearl Unit frames – Shows my Frame in the top left, My target in the bottom middle, along with Focus target beside it. (has a little Targetoftarget under both target and focus frames also)

Skinner - for the Blue background at the bottom shown as a viewport.

Deadlybossmods – it’s the 2 bars on the bottom left “boom” and “evil spell” is just showing it in test mode.

Chatter – is chat frame in the bottom left

Quartz – is the casting bar (shown casting g-heal)

Bartender4 – is the action bars in the bottom middle (for moving them around and resizing)

ButtonFaced along with trinity – this is what I use to make the circle buttons instead of standard square on my action bars.

SexyMap – for the minimap in the bottom center

Bison – movable buffs and debuffs (shown at the top right)

DoTimer – Cooldowns (shown on right), DoTs and HoTs(shown on the left as renew)

    Grid with indicators and text3

Omen – threat meter at the bottom right

PowerAuras – for procs (shows pre 3.1 HC proc as yellow around my character)

PoMTracker – is not shown, but it’s above my characters head.

Recount – dmg meters shown above omen

    Additional addons not visible:
Wardrobe – quick set changes mainly for pvp and pve sets
    Gladius – frames for arenas
OPie – for quest items mainly
    OneBag3 – simplifies bags
Ganklist – tracks assholes on my server
Fubar with plugins - manage addons, professions, calendar, etc...
FishingBuddy – makes fishing a lot easier
Altoholic – for keeping track of my toons and what they have in their bank/bags

Only addons I couldn't live without is Grid and Quartz. Most (if not all) addons can be found at http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/default.aspx. I hope this helps you out.
