Do you think they increased the bonus damage reduction granted for def? I cant find any numbers for the calculation so I can only guess at 540 def the damage reduction will be 35%?

unless GC stated somewhere that the damage reduction would be different (or didn't but it is anyway) then we can at leas for now assume that at ~540 it'll still be 35% meaning the value it rises per defense is more (further increasing the value of that new runeforge word)

Icebound Fortitude – now reduces damage by 20% instead of 50%. The amount of damage reduced increases with bonus Defense (to about 35% for 540 Defense, but it can go higher). The stun immunity is intended to be its primary role in PvP.

That's what I'm getting from it. If anything 15% base just means that it scales BETTER with defense, assuming the ~35% at ~540 is still correct, which I'm assuming it is.

Look at the PTR Patch notes, I'm thinking it's an error. Those do happen.
