Everything looks good for your level of gear. I would suggest trying to reforge as close to the expertise cap as you can, as the extra bit of expertise rating on your gear is wasted itemization. There have been arguments for using the Apparatus as a Frost DK, but I would suggest getting a DMC: Hurricane instead. It's cheaper if you're buying it on the AH and depending on how you personally time the on-use of the App, it may be an easier dps boost over the Heart of Solace.

Your gear looks good, I would suggest you to review those to points in chilbains, but this depends on your raid, you always can have your off spec with that, just for the area slow...
About your opinion about the apparatus I have to disagree, the apparatus is a little BL/Heroism, that you can use every 2 mins, and since you are dw, the stacks will rise really fast, and you can use that in every single cd. The amount of str in this is really nice, and you always will have the chance to take a hand in a upgraded version.
I will give you a 9/10.

also, I've read alot of places that apparatus is an okay trinket for us but not the best, and that H.HoR and VoA are still the BiSs

Besides being grossly over hit and expertise, you appear to be missing an engi buff to your belt. I'm not an engi so I dunno if there's anything useful for the belt or not.

Dont know what you are achieving here, eighter pvp or tanking ? gear seems mixed.
Prime Glyphs are okish if you were going after alysrazor, but you should take the Deathcoil prime glyph if you also got lichborne (which you have)
Major Glyphs, i dont understand why you got the pillar of frost glyph in Blood, so i would change that. Also DRW Glyph shouldnt be needed since threat shouldnt be an issue.
Minors, You got the important one (blood tap) who cares about the others :P

a lot of your gems seem off, you seem to be going for avoidance, but at times gemming dodge and stamina like in your trinket for a 10 crit bonus?
A lot of parry gems meeting socket bonuses of only 15 stam could very easily be dodge gems which considering the massive difference between your dodge and parry %s,

Two stamina trinkets are really very unneccesary and an avoidance trinket would serve you much better.

Everything seems ok for me. You have a good gear, and a nice avoidance balance. The only point where you get low in my evaluation is that you are a female gnome...you have better races to choose...

Wut. You have 2 359 rings, why are you commenting on my one .-. I guess you didn't notice my 4 piece & Relic, no I don't have any spare VP.

I play on the US realms due to starting up WoW with several of my gaming friends that I played a game with previous to WoW for 5 years together and they were all American. I never switched to EU when they quit due to falling in love with my DK and not really having any reasons to switch, my latency's fine ect.

Looks nice, hard to say something about DK dps. But I do think you are abit over the exp cap (26/26).

Your professions are pretty odd for a tank. If you're not against it, i'd suggest re-training into BS/JC/Ench. Also on your legs, you should replace that demonseye with a fine ember topaz. Mastery is much, MUCH more important for us than stamina.

On your fireheart necklace, reforge some expertise into dodge. On your talonguard band, restore your current reforge, and reforge the parry into dodge/mastery. The idea is to get rid of as much parry as possible. We get an over-abundant amount of parry from our strength and with swordshattering giving a free 4% we need all the dodge we can to reduce the effects of DR as much as possible.

Overall i'd give you a very solid 8.5/10.

Also, as a side note, my trinket's actually work remarkably well together ^_^. Hitting my SoE let's me survive a heavy period of damage alot easier (main tanking baleroc, taking 6+ stacks if the other tank dies on rag and we haven't got him up yet, etc.) than before I got it, and the raw dodge is amazing. I mean, you can reforge 153 dodge out of it for mastery and still have 250. The scales provide a massive stam boost that i don't really have room to squeeze in elsewhere (i sit at about 176k unbuffed), and when my SoE goes down and i start taking micro chunks of damage, a vamp blood + rune tap + scales of life can easily heal me for a solid 50-60 somethin thousand damage. It really does work surprisingly well.

Thanks for the advice - and it never occurred to me to use the Scales to cancel out the Stay trinket haha.
