Well, unlike most dks, I can hit my bone armor macro once a minute to keep the buff active. As for it falling off due to having charges, I dont care, I take less damage, requiring less healing so tanks stay alive.
I am aware that the legs of ascention are BiS, but this is my alt, and I wont see them for a while. I do, however run 10H ToC, and the hat is almost as good. Just waiting for it to drop at this point.

Now for your toon. Using crit gems is bad. Move the Nightmare tear to your hat, and put a 20str where the old one was.

Since this is more about min/maxing, spec back into Bone Armor like a good Unholy DK. It IS more dps, and will probably save you from dieing one day.

Sorry, but all GOOD dks know that 5/5 dark conviction and no BS is a DPS improve with 4/5 t9, and if you look on some good DKs, they specc with 10 str 10 crit with socket bonus with 6+ str, and the head got 8 str, so I loose 2 str but I gain 10 crit rating, so it's better, perhaps you should go read some things up

hit (untill cap) > str > expertise (untill cap) > haste > crit with 4/5 t9

But gemming with 10 str 10 haste ain't as good as gemming with 10 str 10 crit, the only crit gem that you shouldn't gem with is 20 crit, 10 agi 10 crit, 20 AP 10 crit etc.. except 10 str 10 crit

Not that bad gear , and enchants / gems are pretty good. Go Ony10/25 and get Obysdian Blade. Ony is very easy and fast instance and some really good gear drops there. You could also go to UD25 and get Wordcurver from ignis , but UD is a bit more challenging then Ony.

Looks pretty good, except, you can drop expertise down to 26 and you need to be hit capped, 8% that is, also, why 55/2/11? take away those 2 points in RPM and 1 skill in epidemic to get 3 in Morbidity

Wow pretty sweet geat. only comment i would have is your gems. replace gem in head for a nightmare tear 10+ stats and counts for gem of any colour. then maybe swap your other gem for hit 10+ unless u need it for your hit rating. otherwise sweet,

Still have way to much expertise due to stupid ToC and ToGC drops and I'm still geared a bit for blood, but the dps increase that unholy gave was too much to pass up (ZOMG I GOT BEATEN BY A ROGUE ONCE!). Right now I'm trying to focus on weapon and neck. Unfortunately weapon is a bit difficult due to the 10 other people rolling against me and the only necks I can really think of are off of the Twins in 25 man. Any thoughts on one from 10? Heroic or otherwise.

Your gear isnt bad at all, maybe a few upgrades that can come easy with a few weeks in ToC (emblems + drops).
You are hit overcapped, but that is because you have some ilvl 219- that had lots of hit.
In terms of spec, I would probably change 2 point for the extra runic power in frost tree, just to get the extra dmg on deathstrikes.

I would recomend you to get the sigil of virulence asap.

Gear and chants/gemming looks solid overall, although since you should have the luxury of having dranei hit buff, I would say drop the icewalker boot enchant for tuskarr's vitality, and perhaps regem the str/hit gem you're currently using to a str/crit gem, if you decide to drop below 8% hit rating.


As for my armory, I have a few notes. I have not been able to log on to my character for the past week and a half, so there are some things I know need fixing that I haven't been able to get to:

I need to switch my nightmare tear to another slot, I need to switch a point from Bladed Armor into Dark Conviction, and I need to switch my blood tap minor glyph to pestilence

Medle..unlucky for you i dont now a thing about Unholy :P but looking at your gear you have the experience needed to get the full out of it so gearwhise i would say an 8/10. Spec whise you have to ask someone elses opinion i am afraid
When i started DK i started with blood..and actually never have try'd something else thats why
I do think you can loose some expertise. 26 is softcap and you have 36.

I am aiming for the Justicebringer from toc25 and also 12 badges away from getting 2nd triumph piece. I most likely will switch out the Conquest helm for it since that benefits me atm with the most stats going up. Also my exp have to drop down so waiting for a nice trink or ring to drop.

8/10 becouse of using Grim Toll as unholy, Grim Toll as unholy won't be usable untill 3.3 and NO, don't replace greatness, it's the third best trinket for DK's under normal and heroic Death's Choise/Verdict

I would also take away Bone Shield for 5/5 Dark Conviction since you got 4x t9 for more crit chance so you get more crits on your diseases, notice, just more crits, not bigger crits.

Greatness goes where mark of supremacy is, not sure why i had it on, but with greatness Im at 264 hit, thats why I have the + hit gem. Keeps me at cap. Need 3 more badges and ill have my 245 pants.

Bad advice is bad..he has the cookie cutter top dps spec. Why try and change that when it is proven to be the top spec?

Becouse, 16/0/55 is the cookie cutter top dps specc when you don't got 4x t9, WITH 4x t9 you want the extra crit above the 20% reduced damage and 2% extra damage you get with Bone Shield, basicly becouse it can't be up all the time, and then a extra crit chance for a chance for more crits with the diseases is alot nicer, IMO, and I see most TotC 25+ raiders use that specc aswell.
