Umm, even after looking at both specs I really don't have a lot to say. Pretty much spot on. I will ask this though, when do you find that your Frost spec out does your Unholy?

I know it needs some work, adjusting it after reset as I haven't played in a month or so. My question is, as a tank is Unholy viable in ICC or should I swap to Frost/Blood?

Frost is my pvp spec, frost will never be nearly as good as unholy when using 2hander. But we still might get some new for frost dw before cata and its now pretty close to both unholy and blood. Dps wise it goes unholy>blood>frost dw atm, things can change tho.

Your gear looks great, for an alt that's damn good. I believe the rules are t10 chest > t10 legs, but it's too late to take that back. Work on some hit and you'll be perfect!

Get that cloak enchanted. Also, it'd be nice to see some beneficial professions in there to maximize your stats.

I am gonna say right out that UH tanking is garbage. You lose effective health and avoidence and threat and... well, you get the point. But in return you get, well, not very much. (An instant Death Pact and an inferior tanking CD is about it). Respec blood or frost, whichever you prefer, but ditch UH.

Your gemming is messed up as well. You should never ever ever use straigh red or yellow gems, using green and purple gems with +15 stam on them is best. The other stat can be whatever seems most usefull. For you? Probably hit rating or defense and dodge or expertise.

Glyph of Indomitability from the Triumph badge vendor would be an upgrade over the ilvl 232 one you have. Keep the Black Heart until you can get Satrina's scarab or something similar.

You are also missing some other easy upgrades, like T9 gloves. The 4p bonus is extremely nice. I would actually recommenced Not using the shoulders you currently have, and equipping T9 shoulders and gloves. Swapping shoulder pieces would be a slight stat penalty, but you would gain the 4p set bonus. Worth it, really.

6.5/10. Utter garbage spec, and somewhat undergeared, with some pretty big gemming mistakes.

looks pretty good. 8/10. You def need some more expertise...as blood its important to get capped. Your helm is poo you shuold obviously spend your badges to get the tier helm next for the armpor pen on it. -1 point

i also subtracted a point for needle encrusted scorpion. honestly i tested this trinket a lot and never ever ever was I pleased with it, the RNG is so bad although the proc is amazing( lots of times it procs when u are trying to refresh diseases or just takes a while to proc since its 10% chance on crit to proc), im sure u see huge numbers when it does but ud be better of getting mjolnirs runestone than that, or even that armor pen trinket out of reg5toc.

now for me, looks like im in my tank gear atm when i checked armory, which is actually cool because i'm pretty confident in my DPS set, would love to hear more about my offspec tank gear...i spent all my badges for my dps set so now am hording badges to work on my tank gear. shld i buy the stam trinket? (i tank 10mans, and 25s tank for my guild on gimick fights, keleeth tank, rotface slime tank, drive the abom...)

I'm no expert on tanking, but looks good to me. DEF capped (obviously, HIT capped, perfectly expertise capped, and a nice slow 2H weapon. I wish I could give you a bit more detailed advice in regards to the trinket choice, perhaps a tank can come in here and do that for you.

It's "any number" of red sockets and 1 yellow. Hence only 1 yellow socket with a socket bonus greater then, or equal to the chart should be socketed with Inscribed Ametrine or Etched Ametrine if you need hit rating.

You could get Tier10 helm, and change gloves to the badge gloves. That would drop your hit and increase your armor penetration.
And you should not put your Nightmare Tear in your head, the 8 critical strike rating socket is not something you want to catch with an Nightmare Tear. Put it in your chest instead for a 6 strength gain. Also, Inscribed Ametrines in yellow sockets with 3+ strength socket bonuses.
