Right because this game from a rogue POV should be only focused on pvp? Open your eyes and stop being one-eyed. Yes rogues do need a buff/fix/talent change whatever is needed to stop us from using a stupid build to be on top of dps.

Rogue was always the worst counter for warlocks I don't know why so much QQ. Every class has its counters.

    That would be SOO cool!!

Indeed, every class has it's counter... except Rogues, IMO.

This might be just a conspiracy theory but somehow I feel Blizzard is making a push to sell more authenticators. Seems like they've done a lot of questionable things lately regarding getting more revenue from subscribers.

I'm not talking about PvP here. As far as it concerns me, PvP in this game can die lonely in a corner. Though I find it funny that of all classes, a Warlock comes here and... well, let's cut this.

I just want to fill my class role in PvE without being forced to abuse a bugged talent.

And I'm discouraged about PTR tweaks mentioning "Death Knight / Druid / Shaman / Warlock" over and over and over and over every single time for months now.

I'm not saying the problems of these classes are trivial, and I'm sure they aren't. Just that writing novels and books worth of text on 4 classes, but expecting from PvE rogues to settle on spamming eviscerate and be happy is absurd.

    See, ignorance is bliss, right?

"Every class has it's counters" and "Just because we suck in PvE, we should dominate in PvP" are the lamest excuses for rogue PvP OP'dness ever made.

You have not played a warlock in Wrath of the Lich King PvP. You might remember warlocks in the state where we were in Season 2 a bit over a year ago, where locks were overpowered to the point where only rogues would beat warlocks. So they buffed rogues more and nerfed the lock down in S3 and S4.

In S3 and S4 warlocks were average. We weren't godly, we didn't suck. In WotLK PvP, we're on the bottom of the barrel and past greatness doesn't help us. In other words, even though we killed every class except rogues in S1/2, that doesn't mean that every class has to kill us now in WotLK.

When will we be able to fly over Exodar and Silvermoon on our own mounts?

I did not write any of the statements you quoted, you are replying to the wrong person.

I was just pointing out that all PTR updates seem to be about the same 4 classes for months now. These classes shouldn't be ignored of course. It's just wrong to ignore other classes in the process.

Rogues could be overpowered in PvP right now, I don't know about that as I don't really do much PvP. This post was about Rogues in PvE. And thats horribly broken right now and can't be weighed up by being OP's in PvP if it is that way.

The forum mods tend to, they give out nice 3 day bans, IIRC.

If this in turn rewards people more honor for attacking siege weps or defending flags and such, then I'm all for it. I'm tired of getting less honor than others just because I actually do what's needed to win.

First, Naxx is Karazhan 2.0. People need to remember this when talking about relative ease of clearing it and farming gear.

Second, arena isn't some ultimate display of skill. It's more to do with class makeup of teams and ability to use the terrain to your advantage. It's a duel on steroids.

See you've basically, though probably unintentionally, supported my point. Blizzard would avoid all of the crying, screaming, and moaning that you have just detailed if they went and designed unique models for their items. The second they reintroduce a model is the second that people start complaining. People are less concerned with whether or not a set visually dominates another than they are concerned with whether or not they look just like the guy standing next to them.

MMOs have been and always will be about distinguishing oneself from the pack. Blizzard could help players achieve this goal through diversification of their items.
