Is it too much to ask for if we want shackle to work on all targets??

    Any reasons why not...?

    PvP or PvE-wise?

Healing classes generally haven't been all that strong at CC. If priests had fear and shackle on separate DRs then this could easily be seen as overpowered in small scale pvp.

Yeah druids are an exception, and they were pretty overpowered for the biggest part of TBC.

Ok, good point. Could you explain to me how it would be OP then? I honestly cannot think why it would be.

Re: Is it too much to ask for if we want shackle to work on all targets??

Shackle is a full CC. I.E can't do -anything- while shackled.

Druids entangling roots isn't, you can still cast/shoot/throw etc. It's only a root.

Cyclone lasts 6 seconds with diminishing effects.....

So please don't try to use a druids poor CC as an excuse to get shackle to work on everything.

Plus if they make it so shackle works on everything, then every class in the game is going to DEMAND a CC.

This game is getting dumbed down enough as is, quite frankly, I miss the days of Mages being the only form of GOOD cc.

Fear, trinket, shackle. The target is now eating a full 10 second cc. If you're running with a rogue the target will probably eat a full blind as well and possibly a full sap into a fear from the priest. Effectively putting the target out of action for 30-40 seconds.

    ok i see!

How about if I said it didn't fully CC you, with just a root effect! :]
and of course put a CD on it...

    still op?

Look at #1 comp in 2v2 and the LOL it would become if priests got a polymorph that doesn't heal the target.

In short: mages would QQ. Rest would find anyone who even suggested such a thing utterly clueless.

Great, you just killed the best PvE CC against undead. Stop thinking, stop posting, you are no good at it.

All I know is Spriests are going to be useless in PvP until they can have some sort of a root/CC instead of just one fear... even if its a small one.

Mind flay is a snare. Instant AoE fear is a CC. Shield helps against melee damage, and Divine Hymn can provide some breathing room.

Don't complain to me, I play a warlock.

Not complaining. Suggesting, so I can see reactions and understand more if it is OP
I'm understanding more and more that it is.

Sooner they fix the shared CD between Divine Hymn and PS the better...

Curse of Exhaustion is a snare, Howl of Terror is a CC, improved fear helps against melee damage, and Shadowfury can provide some breathing room.

If you don't want priest complaints then gtfo of the priest forum jackass
