    Profession specialisms?

    Howdy!

    Just wondering, does anyone know if they're going to add anymore profession specialism recipes into the game in wotlk at some point?

    My hunter is a DS Leatherworker - I've found the DS LW trainer in Dalaran (alongside the tribal and elemental trainer) but he doesn't have any new recipes - just the up to lvl 70 ones.

    Likewise, I just agonised over with specialism to go with my tailor. Was this pointless and I wont actually have any use for that now? (I've not checked in Dalaran yet what the tailor trainers offer)

    So, has anyone heard if they plan on adding these recipes later in the game - or have they just decided to make it simple and not do it anymore?

    For Tailoring specialism it is back to dear old Shattrath. You choose Mooncloth/Shadoweave/Spellcloth like it was done in TBC and this continues to do its work in WotLK.
    This meaning that when making the cloth of your speciality, you create 2 rather as one. Now unlike TBC the 'epic sets' of these cloths;

    Moonshroud Robe + Gloves
    Spellweave Robe + Gloves
    Ebonweave Tobe + Gloves

    are not BoP, you could have another tailor craft them for you should you not have the profession yourself. The embroids on cloak require one of these cloths (which are BoP);

    Lightweave requires 1 Moonshroud (+dmg)
    Darkglow requires 1 Ebonweave (+mana)
    Swordguard 1 Spellweave (+AP)

    Ofcourse these cloths are used for more as just these recipes, but besides the embroids nothing BoP yet. So whatever you choose can be based on various things, but it doesn't matter as much as in TBC where you could not craft/wear a specific set without having the speciality.
