[QUESTION] Am I tuned for instance?

Hello everyone,

First, I apologize for my English, it's not my native language so I'll try my best.

I just have some questions about my paladin. I just dinged 80 a couple of days ago (quests rush to 80, no instance). I'm farming for a Titansteel Destroyer, and being revered to Oracles and Sons of Hodir.

But now I wanna go in lvl 80 instances, and if possible some heroics/raids.

Is my stuff fit for this or do I need to farm more? A friend of mine told me that I could try heroics, he saw some dps still wearing green in hero...

9% hit. (elitist jerks thinks it now may be 8%, but the evidence is sketchy.)

Evidence is not "sketchy". Its anecdotal, and observational.

Difference is, theyve run lots and lots and lots of tests and found 8% to hold true. Without any dev confirming the evidence will only ever be anecdotal and observational.

Im running of 8% hit, ive not missed yet (minus the times where you get -40% hit debuff ofc) with my bow.

Of course, if you want to dual-wield..then im farily certain your not playing a paladin.

You certainly don't need to be hit capped to raid, even 25man. It's never been a requirement, it never will be. I'd take any good player in blues for a raid over a mediocre player full t7.

If you're going for some of the more hardcore achievements, or competing for 1st dps spot and what not, then yeah. But no you don't need to be hit capped to raid.

Get hit cap! :P

Can't DPS if you don't hit.

Can't crit if you can't hit.
