Ret paladin most important stat.

As the title says, I'm curios on what is the most important stat for a ret paladin in pvp.Mostly for 2v2 arena burst team.
Is it crit chance?Str? Support your ideas pls.

Strength.

Increase attack power, is affected by Divine Strength, and is multiplied by Kings.

I would say Hit first to a point.
Mana return to use abilities comes from judgements.
Missing judgements = lost judge DPS and a HUGE loss in mana.

Miss too many judgements and you go OOM.

I'd estimate roughtly:

If your hit is lower than 200
Hit>Str

If your hit is higher than 200
Str>Hit

Stength is far ahead of the other stats.
Even if you arent hit capped, go for str, gem for it!

STR is > crit. Crit isn't bad but STR > Crit. Almost all, if not all, your abilities scale with AP. Strength gives you more AP therefore more damage. Crit is nice and you can never have enough, but i would gem all for STR.

Even if it were PvE, Strength would still be the "most important."

Both crit and str are good in arena.
Crits are random, but Art of War has alot of impact on your survivability.
Str is the foundation of all damage, and also increases your AoW instant heals.
I would say 30-35% crit chance is good to aim for, then strength all the way, but dont nerf your strength to get crit.

This is an irrelevant post. The OP asked what was the most important stat. The answer is strength. Hit is important as is expertise in arena. Still not the question.

Wow... Just because he may be relatively new to arena... or even to WoW for that matter, he's a FotM reroller? That's special. I've been Ret since Lv. 1 (except for the occasional respec to holy for pugs), and since I haven't yet started Arenas (taking my time to 80)... I find this topic rather interesting myself. It's a good question imo. Why all the hostility?

I can beat you with 1 hand both specced on str or crit.

No, Your forgetting that Resilience, especially against good players, nullifies your Crit. Sure you could get some nice crit and smack down some under geared/non pvp geared player. but adding 1-5% crit over equivalent strength when players will be wearing in excess of 10% crit reduction is not a smart Idea.

Strength is the most important stat. with perhaps 3-4% to hit to make sure your not missing much, if at all.
