Help with tanking spec

Hi all

I know there are plenty of these threaths already.
But Could us some expert help.

I planning to be AoE tank and want still be able to be nice DPS if not needed to tank.
I planning to become Offtank in raids.

At the moment i thinking of a spec like this

personaly, for tanking, i go frost.

not specific, i change it up every time to try out new things, but its usually somewhere arround this:

frost has all the great mitigation tallents, then i throw in the unholy and blood tier 1 mitigation tallents and expand from there. DW you got the nerves of cold steel, 2h youve got 2h mastery. either way you have lower DnD cooldown for threat.

honestly for AoE tanking all you really need is DnD, disease ticks, and pestilence/BB. with frost presence and DnD down, not much ever pulls off me, even the guild boomkin using typhoon, starfall, and hurricane.

if you cant pull yourself away from unholy, make sure to have reaping maxed and if you're deadset on only being an aoe tank, have wandering plague maxed as well.

something like http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?deat...=041109050406# will keep you unholy with the mitigation and increase your damage if you're running 2h. if you DW move the points from 2h mastery over to nerves of cold steel. (discresionary move a point from outbreak to max cold steel.)

also, get the glyph of scourge strike. its the whole reason unholy works as well as it does because you dont have to refresh your diseases near as often and can just keep pumping out the big hits.

I was also thinking about frost.
Just my fear is that i wont be able to put out some nice damage if i dont need to take damage.

And you linked your talent calculator wrong , you proberly first opened one of my links and and reset and made your spec and linked my url and not the new one

Desecration isn't good for tanking. Especially not 3 points. Being a heavy spell damage tree, you really need virulence.
And unless you have another DK getting Unholy aura, it's A LOT more valuable than it sounds at first.

Past that it's just preferences and whatnot. Pick a tree, pick up the tanking talents, and the better dps talents.
