URLs are super helpful to track down those.

Thanks! Didn't mean to sound like a dick in my above post; I was trying to catch up on mmo-c stuff before work and it kept getting redirected constantly.

Those ads really should not have the option to make your phone vibrate, anyone who doesn't know much about tech/phishing will get caught out on that kinda thing. Is there any way to stop them having that permission do you know? Chrome for Android / Samsung Galaxy S6 / Marshmallow 6.0.1

  5. #725
I don't know if you can turn that off since Chrome is so integrated. There is an issue open for it though https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium...tail?id=507703

Now there is some CS:GO league commercial auto playing some youtube video appearing.

I have enough of EA ruining great franchises and studios, forcing DRM and Origin on their games, releasing incomplete games only to sell day-1 DLCs or spill dozens of DLCs, and then saying it, and microtransactions, is what players want, stopping players from giving EA games poor reviews, as well as deflecting complaints with cheap PR tricks.

I'm not going to buy any game by EA as long as they continue those practices.

I get some really bad adds when browsing via Safari on iphone, when i enter the site, after a few seconds it starts opening several websites, like 3 or 4 one after another on the same tab so you can't even get back to mmo champion going to previous page, I have to open it again.

It always end up on a site that if you click the button it will auto subscribe you to some ringtone subscription or similar crap. The thing is that it only happens sometimes but it is very annoying. Regular adds show fine.

    From Germany:
    www.keatenz.pw
    www.appzflyer.com
    ads.loadreviews.com
    date-for-adults.com

It's extremely annoying to browse on a smartphone and it happens only on MMO champion. No other site (I mean serious big site) ever gave me so many problems.

Yeah, I just had a porn ad pop up.

    date-for-adults
    better than tinder

didn't exactly stay to watch what were actual addresses, as I was in middle of a break at work

I guess your site may have been breached?

Edit: to clarify when and where it happened.

I was at front page trying to look at recent forum post at some thread, can't remember what thread tho.

Intrusive add that can't be clicked away. When previous page it locks the screen.

When scrolled down, whole page was reloaded to some other ad page.
atm your page is not usable without ad-block

Redirected to http://www.vosmangas.com/super-seisy...01-vostfr.html upon clicking a link (what ranged class etc etc). Page seem innocent enough except for a script that shows a warning stating that your drivers are out of date when you try to click back/get away from the page, and ofc the originally linked page isn't shown.

I guess there has to be some serious revenue involved to make these kind of ads so heavily featured on mmo-c while they're hardly seen anywhere else (at least not anywhere else I frequent with any regularity..). Also had a number of straight up adult ads before I knew that this thread existed.

Have to agree on adblock, atm I'm letting most through since I know that some measure of ads are necessary but it's becoming a bit excessive..

Are there any other URLs in your history before that one after you tried to visit a page? None of these ads being reported are intended and they are being blocked as soon as we can.

Two more today, first one as I came to the front page

    http://bestsingleslocator.com/?u=ekk...z6gc4u&t=tgf0#

Second, amusingly as I opened another tab and went to the frontpage, then clicked on forums, then scrolled down the list till I could see the suggestions & feedback subforum and the latest active thread was this one, clicked on the thread link and then immediately got sent to

    http://gymzz.winpromo.7112623.com/?s..._pop-r782-t280

With a localized message (in swedish, as that's where I'm living) "Dear browser user, you are the lucky visitor of the day for August 9th" basically. Also said I could have a shot at winning HD Streaming Movies, no less (lucky me :P)

Only been to mmo-c and my guild webpage today (just got up) and I more or less always open a new tab when browsing stuff, and the ads only come when I've also got at least one open tab on mmo-c.

    Ahead of the second link there is one page however which I guess is the one that first triggers the redirect (that is, after I clicked on the "reporting bad ads" link);
    http://engine.spotscenered.info/Redi...imeZoneOffset=

That one never opened as a tab so I'm guessing it's the one that did the 2nd redirect, don't know about the first one (nothing shows ahead of the link that was opened in the tab in the history)
