Also this message popped up when I was writing a PM. Out of nowhere the audio started playing and the video.

It didn't leave a url.

In my experience, these ads only trigger when you mouse over the banner. If the cursor is left over the banner for a set pperiod of time, I think something 3 seconds, it will trigger the video. If you start hearing the sound, simply move the cursor and it will stop the triggering of the video. It threw me for a loop at first as well.

I believe I was just greeted with the same add. I was browsing the General OT list of threads and suddenly had another page opened to the "world's best free game" or something like that. I closed it pretty fast since it was loading something.

I meant to say something the other day but forgot >< there are a few of the rollover ads where even if you quickly move your mouse across that part of the screen they keep counting down and pop-up anyway. The one he posted there is one of the ones I have had that happen on.

Definitely possible, I did not see any banner ads, but then again I was not paying particular attention to the screen, was just on autopilot going to login.

That looks like a rollover ad - they will usually pop over if you hold your mouse over the ad for a few seconds.

Bottom right ad was an auto-play of sound ad that was for some light and fat Greek yogurt or whatever. I clicked the little blue arrow in the ad and it went to: https://preferences-mgr.truste.com/?...50&w=300&h=250

After the ad finished, I went back in time to 2001! No refresh or anything for this.

CanardPC links are currently being reported as Malware, that's the site where CPU-Z Validator sigs are hosted. So any page where someone with one of those sigs has posted is gonna trigger the Google Chrome Malware warning.

That's probably someone's signature that is flagged as malware because of a site that is flagged as malware, I'll go there and try and see who it is and if I can fix it.

Edit: I'm not getting any warning, so it' probably fixed.

This is what happened this morning, we got a reply from the ad network a couple minutes ago.

Netseer, a demand partner, has been flagged by Google for malware. What is happening through our tags is that we are making a call to a cookie synch with them on many of our tags. We are disabling that cookie synch which will solve the problem. Importantly, this is NOT exposing your users to malware. We will notify you when the solution has been pushed to all of our servers.
