Aren't they usually just begging you for your IRL money and then give nothing in return though? Never really heard about these guides being super trustworthy...

Well, I have no clue if they work or not, but you pay for a guide and get a guide. So it's true that you get the product, whether or not it's useful.

It's just like the 'pay to learn this diet secret' ads -- would I recommend actually giving them your money? no, but I assume they'll tell you something if you pay them.

These expanding/collapsing ads really suck anymore. Theres a FPS game one, and a Samsung one.

Plus im getting a lot of talking ads now, im guessing at the bottom of the screen, because if I hear them, ill just close out firefox and go to another site without looking.

It was verrrrry nice coming to mmo champ without having to mute my comp and scroll up and down like a maniac trying to read something. Was.

I'm having an Annoying add that automatically play (with sound) since the last ~24h. It's a French add (I'm in France) about some official gambling company (so I guess it's against two of the "forbidden" categories.).

2 Flash advertisements (1 for The Sims, 1 rotating around everything from credit cards to dog dentures - much more annoying) popped up on http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...1#post20465031 as the 12th page loaded (of all new posts in the rogue forum).

No media are reading as embedded, but this "object" did pop up: http://cloud.nmg.netdna-cdn.com/player.swf ; stands out as both the largest (file size 112.07 KB) to load and the only object.

Keep getting this annoying ad on iPhone that automatically launches iTunes to some game called Candy Crush Saga. Doesn't launch a new window, launches in your current session (ugh)

Doesn't even have a "stop" button. You have to actually physically click on it and have it open up a new window for it to stop.

There are a ton of noisy adds now, to the point I can't even stand to use this site. My normal method of browsing is opening a bunch of threads in new tabs then going to them as I read through, but this leads to my ears being blasted by about 6 different ads at once, which is unbearable.

We hate them as much as you, but I need some information so that our ads people can get them removed -- screenshot and/or url would be very helpful.

Gotten this one (the "FANTASTISKT!") a few times now. First time I just panic-closed the page because loudness. It auto-plays a fanfare when the ad is fully loaded.

I can't prove it autoplays without mouseover just from that link, but you have my word that it does. It was at the bottom of a page that I hadn't even started reading it when the fanfare blazed.

You can either clear your cache / cookies (If its one of those Ad-track crap you get sometimes) or the better solution! Download Firefox / Chrome, get the Ad-Block Addon. Enjoy the rest of your internet days without any ad's. (Youtube ad's get removed too)
