This is something I just got today.

This is what happened this morning, we got a reply from the ad network a couple minutes ago.
Netseer, a demand partner, has been flagged by Google for malware. What is happening through our tags is that we are making a call to a cookie synch with them on many of our tags. We are disabling that cookie synch which will solve the problem. Importantly, this is NOT exposing your users to malware. We will notify you when the solution has been pushed to all of our servers.
Well, I have no clue if they work or not, but you pay for a guide and get a guide. So it's true that you get the product, whether or not it's useful.
It's just like the 'pay to learn this diet secret' ads -- would I recommend actually giving them your money? no, but I assume they'll tell you something if you pay them.
These expanding/collapsing ads really suck anymore. Theres a FPS game one, and a Samsung one.
Plus im getting a lot of talking ads now, im guessing at the bottom of the screen, because if I hear them, ill just close out firefox and go to another site without looking.
It was verrrrry nice coming to mmo champ without having to mute my comp and scroll up and down like a maniac trying to read something. Was.
I don't know if this is against the rules or its already been reported or whatever.
Makes me feel uncomfortable.
I'm having an Annoying add that automatically play (with sound) since the last ~24h. It's a French add (I'm in France) about some official gambling company (so I guess it's against two of the "forbidden" categories.).
I had it quite a few time latelly, last time beeing on : http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...4#post20448434
image of the add (the 3rd one) :

2 Flash advertisements (1 for The Sims, 1 rotating around everything from credit cards to dog dentures - much more annoying) popped up on http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...1#post20465031 as the 12th page loaded (of all new posts in the rogue forum).
No media are reading as embedded, but this "object" did pop up: http://cloud.nmg.netdna-cdn.com/player.swf ; stands out as both the largest (file size 112.07 KB) to load and the only object.

I've got two auto-playing advertisements.
I've been getting the White Castle one on several pages, but the Finish shine challenge ad first came up on this page, which is also the page I got the screenshot from.
The White Castle ad leads to http://www.whitecastle.com/onlineord...=I1_ShareMeals while the Finish shine challenge ad goes to http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004S0DZ64/...17414rg4310-20
Firefox, latest version, US.
EDIT: the white castle one just came up again at the bottom of http://www.mmo-champion.com/forums/300-Role-Playing as well as http://www.mmo-champion.com/forums/2...s-and-Feedback
Seen at http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...a-Style/page69
First page I had open, probably after refreshing roughly 5 times.
Google Chrome, newest version, USA.
The Lysol ad played by itself, and looped, auto audio.
Keep getting this annoying ad on iPhone that automatically launches iTunes to some game called Candy Crush Saga. Doesn't launch a new window, launches in your current session (ugh)
That's the URL that pops it I'm not able to debug like desktop chrome version to figure out which ad it is.
Found at the bottom of http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...apped-on-Haste, Firefox US, latest version. Led to https://www.53.com/site/personal-ban...g/idtheft.html
Doesn't even have a "stop" button. You have to actually physically click on it and have it open up a new window for it to stop.
EDIT: Happened again on the front page. Same location and browser.
EDIT2: Happened a third time. http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...necraft/page75. Same place, same browser.
There are a ton of noisy adds now, to the point I can't even stand to use this site. My normal method of browsing is opening a bunch of threads in new tabs then going to them as I read through, but this leads to my ears being blasted by about 6 different ads at once, which is unbearable.
