this. got hit 3 times in a row by MD and it burns some mana but thats all. nothing else to reall worry about

I feel stupid. I thought it just burned mana as never saw anyone hurt by it, but that is becasue we were all spread out around the circle with healers mixed in. I was worried about the ice block, no one mentioned the detonate mana. I did see the warning on DBM and the skull

It does no damage to the person it targets but it does do AoE splash damage to everyone around them.

If you are spread out far enough for Ice Tombs at all times, Mana Detonate is a non-issue.
