Re: [Healers] Post your UI Part 2

I'm using a similar color setup on my Grid to Kepi's, and I did it by keeping inverse on, and removing the "use class colors" box on the healthbars. I'm not sure you're able to keep class colors on the backgrounds - mine were white.

Still a WIP. I have few things to add and I've been toying with some different Pitbull setups. I recently switched from verticle stacked P/T/ToT Pitbull frames to something thinner and wider to maximize visible screen space.

The UI does look a lot like Kepi's UI, but was in this basic setup before I saw his =P
I remodeled the Pitbull frames after I saw your UI and liked it.

Hidden bars: There is a BT4 bar just above the ToT that shows when in combat or on mousover containing Rez/Hero/Potions, and a few buttons I like to monitor for cooldowns other than just having the MSBT text prompts. There is also a full BT bar in the lower right hand corner that only shows on mousover so that I can move things around for basic keybinds if needed.

    @ Kepi

I like the look of your GRID frames. I've been doing some searching through the mod and the internet, but I have been unable to find a way to set the health bars to a flat color, but keep the class color for the text and the under bar when HP is reduced. Do you edit this through the LUA or am I just missing something.

Will update with more IC shots from raid once we get going again on Tuesday

My grid is a setting i grabbed off this really old ui back in ssc/tk progression. i still have the .lua i can upload for you since its the same one i use all the time i just copy paste it into my saved variables and still works to this day.

Thanks. That would be awesome. I havn't found myself having any issues tinkering with mods within the confines of their WoW in game options, but I have yet to delve in to messing with LUAs

Heres the Grid .Lua file just copy it to your WTF/Account/AccountName/Saved Variables folder

I Also use SharedMedia for textures and use the "Armory" texture for all of my bars.

Can you tell me how you got the Earth shield faded message? Is it just SCT? I can get my SCT to tell me when I gain an aura buff but I wish i could get a customizable one to tell me when MY Water shield goes down in the fights where I am casting a whole lot with alot of movement, also knowing when earth shield is down w/o looking at my raid frames would be nice.

    Nice UI

If you are looking for something to visual queue when you shields are down, I would highly recommend Power Auras.

    http://www.wowinterface.com/download...owerAuras.html

It's configurable to do multiple things. Personally, I had mine set to have an aura come up when my water shield was down, but only if I was in combat. I also had another setting that should put up a different aura of a different color if my Earth Shield was not on my current target, but only in combat.

I usually keep it on the MT and just keep him targeted anyways since I use Clique to raid heal.

I don't have it uploaded. I'm still working on finalizing a bunch of it, but there is really nothing spiffy to the UI. I havn't done anything to edit the UI other than what is available in the basic in game options for each mod. Once I get it to a place where I like it I might think about uploading it, but I have never done so before.

How often do you guys die from standing in fire and stuff? About every UI displayed has health bars on the outside of the screen or even a corner. I find it a lot easier to stay aware of whats going on by putting my bars more in the middle to see what's going on.

if you pay attention to your surroundings theres really no need to have your hp bar infront of your face.
