it should scale with gear... most ret paladins will have that because thats what happens to come on the gear that drops. im not saying that crit is bad, but its not something you would take over strength.

to get more damage... wear cloth
to DO more dmg.. crit-gems -> hit-gems till 9% meleehit then go for str(+x) gems

If you are ret pally and you are thinking about gems/enchants, unless the socket bonus is amazing, ALWAYS GEM WITH STRENGTH. That's it. Period. Strength just scales better than any other stat for ret pallys.

So i must change my Gems 2 Strength & not Crit thats what u sugest

Maybe It's just me; but from what I've seen so far, ret isn't gonna be too impressive in pve. Nice burst in pvp (especially against squishy low res opponents) but nowhere near true dps classes and even most other hybrids. I've yet to see ret break 3k in overall dps for any current (80) content from 5-25 players. Not claiming it hasn't happened, just that with equal gear, most others outperform (In my experience so far).

-Get a helm with a meta-gem slot
-Gem for Str (except to meet the meta gem req)
-Berzerking on Death's Bite
-Ring enchant for Ruthlessness
-Food buff
-Flask/Elixirs
-Raid Comp: Make sure you run with Feral Druid, Enh Shaman, Blood DK, and full Sunders or Armor Piercing.
