Tailoring vs JC

I have tailoring 450 now, but cant say that i have any use for it now. so im thinking of taking JC insted.
should i do it? is it that good?
have mining at 450.

It pretty much is right now. Now, Blizzard might decide to beef up the other professions that are lackluster right now (see: Engineering) in later patches, but they haven't mentioned any plans to do so.
