I'm thinking someday they could have a special PvE event.. you still pay to get in.. the best raiding guilds gather around to compete. It is one pain in the ass boss, no one knows the tactics and whoever kills him get's some sort of epic plus a mount/pet.

Anyway Dual spec is still worrying me, I like ret and i'd like to off-spec holy but it seems far to easy for this to turn into the pure classes only getting spots cause they need me to heal.

Thank you Blizz. Now I hope they actually follow through on this idea and nerf rogues. They have been overpowered in arenas for far too long.

/agree with CobraN. Rogues are squishy as hell right now and probably take more skill than any other class in the game right now to do well in arena or pvp in general. The nerf to tone down burst may have been needed but certainley not before some of the other classes. At one time a rogues stuns were his only defense really, now most dps classes can stun just as effectively but have better armor and many more tools at their disposal at the same time. The stats from that link tell the story really.

And it's not *that* hard to get out of a rogue stun if you have your abilities ready.

That would be cool, but I would also like to see a 5 and 10 man version of this as well. I have an amazing 5 and 10 man team for raiding. I could care less about arenas though. However, good for these players, normally it is fun for them. The winners have something to brag about. Normally the entry fees are enough to pay for the prizes. I think this is a good idea that Blizzard has. Also, they always do it in season one then nerf the hell out of the classes that actually won, so whichever classes are in the top ten prepare to enjoy your nerfs.

I'm just surprised that they are going to do this competition after they've already stated that they are unhappy with arena at the moment and are trying to fix it. They know these bursts nerfs aren't the end all fix all.

Easy.

Because the only really strong classes against a rogue in a team based environment are dks and hunters. Which top the brackets, thus making it hard for rogues to climb high.
