    25man sarth 2d+

    Soo... our guild has been kinda struggling on this for a while.. and i think its mainly because people get overwhelmed with whats going on...

    this is our setup-

    1 druid for sarth, 1 warrior for drakes, 1 pally and 1 dk for adds. 7 healers. 14 dps.

    our best attempt was leaving up tenebron and shadron. we managed to get tenebron down, but we only have about 5-10 seconds to clear the adds.. and as soon as shadron lands, for some reason everybody dies...

    Do you guys have any tips for us?

    we managed to get over the whole move from the ring of death, and avoid the fire walls... so whats missing??

    Depends on what is going on.

    If the adds are getting enraged or running off and attacking healers, you need to fix that.

    If a tank is getting hit from behind and your healers can't keep him up because he's an idiot, you need to fix that.

    If your healers aren't keeping up the tanks, then that's a big problem.

    If the druid is dying to flame breaths, try using a dk.

    Quitting the fail that WoW has become when Aion comes out. No point to play hardcore when any idiot can have the same gear as you.

    why not try using a voidwalker to tank sartharion?

    You can try keeping up Tenebron and Vesperon. That gives you a full minute to burn down Tenebron and clear up his adds. If your dps is fast, you should be able to easily take him down before he hatches the 2nd set of eggs. Have everyone single-target burn Tenebron with all their big cd's.

    As someone said before, make sure your tanks aren't stupid and don't enrage the fire adds. Once Vesperon lands, make sure one of the adds tanks (probably the DK) goes down with a couple healers and most your dps to take out the disciple. Come back up, dps Vesp, rinse and repeat every time the disciples are up. Keep your shadow priests on the adds, everyone else stay on Vesp. You really do not need more than 2 people for the adds, if that. Good luck.

    When you feel you are geared enough to try 3 drakes, make sure your dps is top notch. Try taking one more dps, one fewer healer. Make sure Tenebron does not hatch more than one set of adds. Otherwise you might get overwhelmed, and more importantly, you are way behind on DPS. Tenebron should be < 30% when Shadron lands. Shadron should be < 50-60% when Vesperon lands (those are target "maximums"... anything less of course is better). Do not overdoe aoe, you're wasting dps on the drakes if too many people are AOE'ing.

    Because using a gimmick/cheat/flaw//bug/whatever-you-call-it is not a good way to learn how to do the more difficult encounters as a guild. You should always stress doing things without relying on gimmicks because Blizzard isn't stupid and they will plug bugs/gimmicks quickly. Then when you get to the next tier of content, your guild ends up falling apart because you never learned how to do things the correct way and everyone gets frustrated at failing.

    While i do not think blizzard plans on fixing the "bug" (which isnt a bug, just a cleave use of game mechanics) they said they do not feel a voidwalker will be useful in any uladar encounters.

    But agreed, it is a very gimmicky way to do it, and if you rely on gimics, it shows what your guild has to do in order to kill a boss.

    It would be VERY helpful if you could elaborate what you mean by "for some reason everybody dies... "

    If you kill Tenebron, kill the Adds, don't get hit by Void Zones and Flame Tsunamis, then there is no reason for anyone to die. From what?

    Try pinpointing your problem, maybe use WWS to create a log of your fights and have a look at what people die from.

    As it stands now, I just don't have a clue to what's your problem.

    There is an EXTREMLY simple answer to this question. You are keeping the wrong drakes alive

    Kill shadron and keep the other 2 alive. Shadron has the nastiest abilities of the 3. Also you will have 1 and a half minute between the 2 drakes, more then enough time to kill the adds.

    ur prolly gettin hit by his flamebreath.. ur tank gettin crit for like 50K
    Usually that's the end result of 'and for some reason the whole raid dies'.
    If it's ads, u need better control over them.. rogues can get rid of the enraged eles with a poison
    If it's voids/flame wall... ./wrists cuz if u can't figure those out, your guild is in trouble.

    1.)Start with removing 1 tank and 1 healer and replacing it with 2 dps.
    DPS is key for this fight, burning down the drakes fast as hell = win.
    2.) Kill shadron, Use Tenebron & Vesperon.
    3.) Loot =)

    Seriously, why are you keeping the most difficult drake up ? Shadron is a pain in the ass with his 100% more fire dmg etc.
