How is the buff to dispersion not a positive PvP change?

Nobody disputes this being a positive change. But (almost) everbody concludes that that change alone isn't enough.

It's the same as if you would live in a shithole of a bunker after the nuclear apocalypse, with the ceiling being blown away years ago, and it hasn't stopped raining for 2 days straight. Then a positive change comes and it stops raining for a day. Well it was a positive change after all, but you're still living in a shithole of a bunker with the ceiling blown away and earth is covered in nuclear winter.

TLDR: So, Meh.

Our DoTs got nerfed, not buffed. The only thing that was buffed was Mind Sear.

2.29% overall DPS loss at 18.2% crit unbuffed, just a rough figure from SimCraft data though. If you stacked haste exclusively and have no crit rating at all, then it's a buff, but a nerf otherwise.

If dots will be at 150% you will ofc start to stack haste

Tbh I don't shadow pvp which is why its all buffs to me but 'Quote of the day' TBH...

I'd really like to see how stupid you have to be to make it to the WoW development team. Are those guys coming up with the ideas while they're stoned or drunk? I can't believe that someone would give a shadow priest half gimped divine shield with self silence as means to survive. And then the shadowform change.. they really deserve Darwin award for being as smart as dead rat next to a sewer.

I really don't see the problem with removing the silence allready, you're probably going to either heal yourself up, or start stacking dots on your target, in both cases there's still a high possibility you'll be interrupted/silenced anyway. We're not immune to most debuffs, it just gives us a little time to recollect ourselves.

Still up for debate if it is a (minor) buff or nerf though.

15% more periodic damage is nice but 15% upfront is a joke, if that is supposed to be for pvp. DP does 1376 over 24 seconds, lets say 2000 for a nice round number in your pvp outfit. 15% of that is a woopin' 300!

Also, It seems I cannot get improved fade and improved vampiric embrace anymore for my pve build
I'll probably drop inner focus for the second point in imp. fade.

Dude not everyone wears green you know ... DP does WAY more then 2000... like 3x-4x more ...

EDIT: basicly they buffed sp PvE and left sp pvp as it was, a bit better due to Dispersion chanegs and glyph of inner fire, but not much.

So really there ain't no real reason to complain all that much, I just hate seeing everyone whine about PVP always !!!
If you raid, you take the cookie-cutter spec to be as good as it gets, but when you pvp you want to stay as you are... SP is just NOT priest's pvp spec, adjust or suck...
