    Righteous Vengeance - Question

I study my class alot (paladin) and feel i know almost everything to know, but there's one thing i cannot find out if it's fact or fiction..

When righteous vengeance activates off a DS/Judge crit does it:
    - proc, then when another DS/Judge crits refresh the dot with the new crit only if it's of higher damage.
    - same as above but refreshes dot with new crit's damage regardless.
    - or same but it adds ontop the old one.. like a dot stacking effect..

no flaming - just answer he question please.

    Re: Righteous Vengeance - Question

its like deep wounds. they keep rolling.

its like DS(crit)->rv procs(8sec)-> judgement(crit)->rv procs(8 sec, DS rv still 6 sec to go)

thats why 4set tier bonus is good. it makes sure that RV keeps rolling more often. if you have 2 judgement crits, both RV's overlap each other for 1 or 2 ticks.

    by overlap you mean stack?
I'm sorry i just have no idea of the mechanics of RV.. or even deep wounds
so what your saying atm is just jargon :S

What your saying is DS crits 4k-> 200/2secs for 8 secs, then judge crits 8k -> they combine to do 520/2secs till original DS crit wear's out so back to 320/2secs off Judge crit till it wears out?

If this is true, then i can understand why so many people are saying RV is they key to increasing our sustained dps...
And also why my dps dropped so much on PTR lol

    Re: Righteous Vengeance - Question

they also nerfed our judgement crit chans from 25% to 18% theres a other reason why ur dps is lower on ptr then on live

    this is correct.

less crit on judgement = less chance RV and less overall dps.
