Listen, mate, I played Paladin for the entire Burning Crusade. What you're experiencing is just a shortage of information. You will not have to wait 3 major patches for a proper buff. They've changed their balancing policy drastically (hey, they even made an effort to give Retribution everything they've said they wanted to give them since... I don't know... game launch?).

Bottom line is, there's a lot of people out there, and a lot of them are kids. You can understand why Blizzard is a bit short-handed with info. Give it time and chill a bit.
