DK Toon - Your opinion

Guys

Been playing a DK since launch of LK.

Just wanted any opinions on spec, gear, etc....

Averaging about 2.3k on HC so I think the build is ok.

ATM my laptop has a seizure when doing 25 mans so 10 mans are my limit until I get a new pc in a couple of weeks, so am kinda limited to what loot I can get my grubby hands on.

Let me know your thoughts.....or flames ;D

With just a quick glance:

- Get rid of green Gems.
- As Unholy: Get rid of ArP if you humanly possible can.
- Get a good Meta Gem. Crit + increased crit-dmg is the way to go.

pretty standard raiding build no complaints there is a toss up between desecration and wandering plague. Do you run more raids or heroics cuz aoe is more important in heroics. Not bad gear for no 25's what's your rotation?

Tend to do alot more hc's than raids, but am starting to do alot of 10 mans now.

In a start up guild that is getting though Naxx well enough.

My rotation is:

PS
IT
BS x2
SS
UB
SS x3
DC

When PvE'ing I never get past BS x 2 and am generally in the top 2 of dps in all raids and HC's that i've done since the gear overhaul.

Gems in your belt saying everything about how good DK player you are. Thats all.

Your rotation is good for single targets definately how bout aoe, pestilence and BB i assume maybe a DD for large groups. Personally i use IT while running into the mob while tank gets aggro, then PS (having a disease on target already increases PS dmg by 30% i think)

It was the only gem I could get may hands on when the belt dropped, and the gem doesn't really say how good/bad I am, just means my choice in gems is poor!

Ya, if I know the tank is good and I won't over aggro i'll start with DD and UB and then go through the rest of the rotation.

You're doing the same dps as my freshly dinged frost DK, with quest reward blues and a few rep items.

How you wanna pull agro from anything where you doing 2.3k dps ? I heared that +4 all stats and mana gems generates extra agro tho...

LOL, you'd be suprised what tanks you get when you pug instances...

As mentioned I will be replacing all gems with "standard" dps gems soon enough...

Only if you have the glyph of PS

You have a bit too much hit (believe it's 9% needed for 2h), and too little expertise (26 needed).
Fix that and your gems and you should get a better output.

First, I'd like to point out to everybody that he actually has done heroic naxx, despite saying he can't.

Now on to the critique/advice:

-You have a ton of hit, not much expertise (at the least, put expertise on your bracers).

-Your gem choices are a little off the wall. Besides your atrociously gemmed belt, your meta is terrible. As a general rule, put bold scarlets in every slot, unless it has an incredible socket bonus. For example, if you look at my legs, I matched the socket bonus because I needed a little bit more hit. Unless you're in a situation like this, don't worry about the color of it.

-You're wearing a tanking cloak (and you can't even use a shield!). Have someone craft you the Ice Striker's Cloak. It isn't great, but it's cheap enough and much better than what you're wearing.

and most importantly...

-You're wearing a red linen shirt. Seeing as you're a night elf, you should probably switch that to pink or purple.

I dont get how can you do 2.3k while you have 3.4k ap - your hit over-caped and got not that bad crt %. Should be at least 3k on singel target.

"Screw" all rotations and use brain instead - play to maximalize numbers of SS's while keeping all your DoT's up ofc. (including Unholy Blight).

Change all retarded gems which i mentioned before + your meta gem (grab 21 crt + 3% higher crt hits one), or even +16 ap +12 stams gems (theres is +8 str +12 stam gem).

Change tanking cloak for proper dps cloak - theres 2 of them which are easy to get:

You got proper Unholy spec so change this shitty sigil and take http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40875 (takes around 5-10 min to get it if you have epic mount) which is best unholy sigil before http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40207 atm.

I have done HC Naxx, but my fps was atrocious, so haven't done it since.

Most importantly I will change the shirt to pink, as that will match my blue eyes perfectly!!!

I dont mind people taking the piss out of the gear I have, only so much as they can quantify the reason why they are taking the piss!

Made alot of money mining in the last dew days so will hit the AH with a passion and change all the gems
