In case you don't know a lot about us, we're based on the Arathor realm in Europe. It's a PvE realm, and we're fluctuating around somewhere in the top 10 guilds on the server. We currently have 5/9 hard modes down in Ulduar and of course have cleared all current Coliseum Bosses.
We raid Monday to Thursday with our raid invites going out at around 1915, and we typically end some time around midnight. The loot system we use is called EPGP, it's somewhat like DKP, but not entirely, go here to learn more about it.
Our guild mainly consists of people who play this game for fun, we have a few people who are quite into pvp, and a few people who love theorycrafting and then we have a few weird people too. Overall though we love raiding and usually have a laugh while playing. We're a fairly friendly guild, and most anyone should be able to fit in here just fine, so long as you're not a gnome, you're good!
We have a few simple requirements of anyone wishing to join us:
- You need to be able to attend typically at least three raids a week, preferably four. If you're the sort of person that can't regularly attend that much then we're not the guild for you.
- You should be fluent in the English language, both written and spoken.
- You should be geared to an adequate level, we don't expect the absolute top gear, but applying in gear from heroics typically isn't going to cut it.
- You should be thick skinned, we're not overly rude, but some times we swear, and we can be critical of people.
- You should have a decent understanding of your own class mechanics and at least a basic understanding of other classes. If your class has multiple roles, you should be able to play them adequately and preferably have gear to play those other roles too, if required.
- You should have a stable internet connection, you may be the best player in the world, but that's no good if you disconnect every 5 minutes.
Regarding our open tank spot, we have a few additional requirements of any tank wanting to join:
- You must have at least Ulduar 25 level of gear. You need to be able to tank the hard modes without straining the group more than necessary.
- You absolutely must be able to talk on ventrilo. As a tank you are a key figure in a raid, and being able to communicate effectively is especially important.
