Odds they nerf feral DPS before 3.1 goes live?

What do you guys think? I'm pulling over 5k on the herioc target dummy; 5.4k with a mangle bot...To good to be true? I hate to say it but I think we're gonna get nerfed before 3.1 ever hits

dont wurrie its not just feral druids but also rogues and other classes got buffed aswel

and there already ppl on live who do 5K

and target dummies got like 0 armor

Druids aren't the only ones that are getting changes that seem just a tad too too good....

Take a good educated look at what DKs are getting for example, and then read the DK forums about the new trick to put out bursts of 11k+ dps every few mins.

Tanking and healing are well in place.....both roles are mindlessly easy and have been since LK launched. Mebbe Ulduar is just tuned for much higher dps compared to piddly-ass new Naxx.

yeh they do but i dont think its the same as bosses in naxx since its quite easely to hit harder on them

but yeh i wont be surprised if uldar is tweaked for 5K+ dps's in heroric

The heroic dummy has armor equal to the average armor of a 25 man raid boss, while the others have practically nothing because they are designed to act like the lvl they are.

The heroic dummy is there to mimic a raid boss, so it is pretty close. Keep in mind tho, that some bosses have more armor, and some have less, than the dummy.


Also keep in mind, his 5k dps is on a dummy, without 25 man raid buffs. Yeah people can do 5k on live on bosses... but not on a dummy unless they are bringing buffers with them :P

5.3 was a ferals theoretical maximum before 3.1, and it was too low based on the fact that other classes can easily pull 6-6.5.

You're coming in here now saying that 5.5 needs to be nerfed when thats barely above the maximum achieveable on live? Ignorance is bliss.

Maximum Achievable? Are you retarded? This is with NO OTHER BUFFS besides my own and food/flask. 5.3 is way to low for maximum i do close to if not over 6k every week on patchy.

To be fair i did have trauma and the 4% increased physical damage on the boss but that was it, no kings, no windfury, no horn, no battle shout, no might, nothing.

There's not 1 change that actually increases our dps... Shred is actually getting nerfed through the glyph. So how do you think that your damage got buffed unless it was due to a bug?

One thing I wasn't clear about... when bleeds crit, do they get the 2x modifier crit damage, or the 1.5 that spells, and I'm assuming dots will get?

its 2x modifier

and not only critting bleed increase dmg also the savage roar chance gives a slight increase overall
