Runecloth: The cauldron fields in western plaguelands imo.
Mageweave: Tanaris and Zul'Farrak if you can solo it.
^^^ TY
and btw, I'm gonna farm it on my 80 for my 55 tune.

Sunken Temple is also a solid place to farm. I must've gotten 3k+ cloth over a couple days farming for Leggings of the Vault.
This is spot on. Sunken Temple is perhaps the best place to farm mageweave.Originally Posted by Kainh
Remember this, kids, it is very important. Even if your mommy makes you a super hero costume, do not attempt to do any of these things, especially flying. Because you cannot do it. You do not have super powers. Because there is only one Super Grover. And that is me.
ZF and ST, personally ZF, it's much less of a pain.
ZF has more humanoids overall and is faster to do than ST.
You could always farm the ogres in Tanaris. But instances are always best.
I'm guessing there is just no Mageweave cloth available on the AH. Farming is such a pain, but if you can't buy something, sometimes you just have no choice, huh.
For the Alliance!
Ogres of the Dunemaul Compound in Tanaris
I did:
Mageweave -> Eastmoon Ruins, Tanaris
Runecloth -> Thalassian Base Camp, Azshara
Another good spot for farming mageweave is in Jintha'alor, the part of the hinterlands previously filled with elite mobs.
They made em normal mobs but i never noticed a corresponding drop in magewaeve from them.
Easier than ZF if your soloing at a lower level. Obviously if your farming at 80 ZF/Sunken temple will be a better payoff tho.
On my tanking DK i solo/run lowbies through ramps and get a lot of runecloth, also netting a few tips on the way too.
Best place I found. Most dropped 2 at a time, non-elite, and quick enough respawn if you clear the whole camp.(mind you I did this at 70 so it was alittle slower then it would be now.)Originally Posted by Staplers
The major benefit, I found, in ZF was the fact that you could mount up and pull the whole instance. Then wait for the trolltrain to arrive and aoe em all in 1 go.
I agree with many here. ZF is great because you can mount up and do the whole place in like 4 or 5 pulls
(80 Mage)
"Peace is a lie"
Mount up and go to the stairs of ZF start pulling in a way you end up at the beginning. Hide around a corner so the casters are LOS than I pop D and D, Magic bubble (because of their health can't really spread diseases) I just single target and cast Unholy blight whenever needed. Takes 30sec to kill and 2 min to loot. Easily 5 stacks per pull. When you get your instance lock out for that hour just ride south and farm orges. You should be able to net 20-30 stacks within 2 hrs without even pushing yourself.
For runecloth there is not better place than Strat. Please note stay away from the gates to kill Baron as they take way longer. Just destroy all the skeleton mobs than do the live side. Easily 10-15 stacks a run.
For Mageweave ZF is defiantly your best bet
For Runecloth you can do it in most of the lvl 60 instances, I usually do it in Baron runs or DM
I just dropped my 2nd Herb for Tailoring (the other char is herb/alch, and the one I"m referring to was "herb'/enchant, now is Tailor/Enchant)
I'm finding myself having to start on cloth farming *groans* Done with the Linen, onto Wool & then Silk (etc etc) I'd like to know your guys's thoughts on those too... and heck, might as well throw linen in... honestly I've not found much good references when it comes to cloth drops, and I've been looking -.-
sunken temple is a terrible place to farm mageweave, whoever thinks so is retarded.
