no answer, you'll have to test it. MY guess would be it doesn't, just like DK and Druid talents do not.

I think I read somewhere that its just from armor, kinda like druids. The trinkets add armor, but its not multiplied.

No trinks and such do not get included, its just from base armor value gear, much the way druids bear modifier now works.
