rogue /warlock 3.1?

my friends is lvlin his rogue up from 70 and i have a choise of lvlin my 70 paly or warlock. i was thinkin warlock b/c i like the doubble dps teams but how well is this team makeup gona be? is pally / rogue betteR? and any tips / specs i should go for either of the make ups

This is a very strong 2v2 combo except against Paladin/DK and Paladinx2. Not much will change for the most part, but I cannot throw 3.1 changes at you to explain this. As far as spec Affliction still probably will dominate and for tips, just make sure you chain CC people into oblivion. This may not say much but honestly, if you know PVP this will all be self explanatory because strategy may not be easy for some people, but it will click eventually.
