Death Knight over Paladin?

Since im done with me old server
ive started a pally which is lvl 10
*the warrior didnt work out*
i wanna raid and do end game stuff as soon as i can
so im thinking of saying screw starting from lvl 1 il make a DK
but im much much more familiar on working a paladin then i am a DK
* i plan on being Dps *
what would you do?

Or you could do what I have done: Learn to play the class well, smash most other DK's by around 1k to (Yes sometimes this does happen) 2k DPS and become well respected on your realm for not being terribad.

and i never said i woudnt learn it...
just saying i can save alot of trouble by going DK
or i can make a pally and take a month to lvl him up to the point where he would be equal to DK

but of course there are many and im gonna have to really learn the class to stand out

As long as you have a good grasp of situational awareness and can fix a rotation that's been broken by, let's say, a wave from Satharion or pressing an ability twice by mistake, you should be fine.

The reason why you can't use questhelper or carbonite?

Btw stick with your paladin, you can heal tank or dps with one toon, like levelling 3 chars in 1 time.
And btw levelling is easier now, so you won't feel too much pain.

i dont feel like im a good healer *at least i doubt i can heal in raids*
so tank and dps is really the only roles il play

Paladin buffs arent as easy to replace as DK buffs in my opinion. So if you really wanna raid that may be the way to go. Also rets are much more fun to play in PVP then ever. Just keep in mind your guild might expect you to heal or tank if its required.

If you really just want to dps and not do anything else... roll an orc DK. Noboby is expecting an DK to heal simply because they cant (this may sound stupid and ignorant but if you really hate to heal...). The downside of this that the servers are flooded with DKs, people who dont want to tank, just wield an big 2h and hit something. You will be one of 100s. Dont expect to get into many random raids.
