    WoW Models

I'm working on a 3D Project, and would love to get a dragon or some other huge beasty from the WoW files to edit it...

There's just one problem, I don't know how to get the WoW file from an MPQ and convert it to a .3ds for the program I'm using (autodesk 3DS Max)

    Does anyone know how?

I know editing WoW models it against the ToU, but I am not going to be using the models in WoW... just in projects I'm working on.

    You could use the modelviewer

Hmm, I tried that... the models came out at 1/4 of what they were... it was more than wire frame, but was reaaallly missing polygons.

Then again, it was when I was first learning the programs... maybe I could find something new with the model viewer that converts it better.
