    Maximise your PvP resto

    Hello.
I'm quite a restoration druid lover and wondered if you out in the world had some tips for PvP resto healing in the upcoming patch and other fancy stuff like:
    - Specs (For patch 3.1.0)
    - Tactics (Examples; for Arena, druid vs <Class>)
    - Gear stats
    - Addons (For Arena)

And more if you have some other snacksy ideas?

    Druid vs Rogue :

    Spec 3/3 in Bramble.

    Cast thorns on yourself.

Keep Faerie Fire on the rogue.
    Keep abolish poison up.
    Keep hots up.

When the rogue is down at 10%~ use an emote, like /calm, /confused, /pulse or even /regret.

The best finisher would an autoattack in Tree form, but you could use a moonfire if you are that kind of druid..

*edit : you need 900-1k resilience to be successfull*
    *French guy inside*
    *please forgive my poor english*

Thorns is the gamewinner against Rogues for sure. I usually dick around in bear form, frenzied regen etc and let them kill themselves =p

This will prolly be my spec

play with a dk. jump into treeform if theres a rogue and start hotting before fight starts, if the rogue is any good they are going to find you. and if you dont have hots on and is in kitty you will die very fast.

dash pounce --> cyclone whoever you are going to cc. stay in treeform if somebody is trying to kill you, only shift to travel if you know you're save to do so (out of los for deathgrip and scattershot etc)

one last thing. do not go bear unless you want to charge something or bash.

    spec

You don't need that much resilience, even with a well played Rogue, with around 700~ a Resto Druid specced with 3/3 Brambles can easily tank a good Rogue. Just keep up Abolish Poison, 3 Stacks of Lifebloom, and Rejuvenation. Post 3.1, you won't be able to roll 3 Stacks of Lifebloom, for obvious reasons. You should still easily be able to just reapply as needed. Plus 240% Armor in Treeform, along with the Bark skin buff.

    80 Warlock
    80 Druid
    80 Death Knight
    70 Shaman
    70 Warrior
    70 Mage

You don't necessarily even need to spec for Wild Growth for 2v2s.

    80 Druid
    80 Death Knight
    70 Shaman
    70 Warrior
    70 Mage

    Re: Maximise your PvP resto

Depending on how S6 will turn out i'll most likely go for:

    http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?drui...4&version=9742

If survival will be an issue, If mana is an issue and survival isnt i'll go for the spec below.

    http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?drui...4&version=9742

A lot depends on how warriors will turn out to be, since they rape druids at the moment.

Also tactics will always depend on your setup, so its not gonna work asking for tactics without knowing a setup.

As for gear stats: go for resi/spirit, resi and resi/spellpower, resi is hot stuff.

i am sorry but that spec is completely ridiculous and gimping yourself.. no imp. ToL ? no imp. Barkskin ? really ?

if you want a good spec i'll give you one, it will most likely become the cookiecutter resto spec for pvp in general

    --> http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?drui...0&version=9757

there you go, with that spec you'll be set for anything aslong as you have the gear to back it up

    Re: Maximise your PvP resto

The good things is, with the specs giving you can PvE aswell.
I would go with the improved tree etc.

You can't really give tactice for a druid or many other classes because arenas are always dynamic. You need to learn alot about your other class and all their abilties to improve well. When to trinket etc against a rogue and stuff.

Alot of arena about counter-acting on moves. If you have a partner and dont wanna jump staright in, tree PTR or go onto the practices arena first.

For the addon aswell, I would recommend Gladdius. I'm sure there a addon somewhere it tells you what people have used, for example, blind, vanish and so on.
