I really dont see this as a spectacular achievement, if you go with 8 DPS 1 tank and 1 healer it only requires about 4kDPS to beat the timer for shadron, which is nothing spectacular. Had you guys successfully lived through the rest of the drakes afterwards, I would be impressed.

EDIT: It does reward the achievement if you kill sarth. Many druids had this achievement in the beta thanks to the typhoon bug.

Killing Sartharion in such short time isn't the problem. This is only a feat if you could also get the The Twilight Zone achievement and loot the mount this way. Otherwise, there is no point of doing it like this.

I love how all you people claim this isn't a valid kill. Clearly you can see the game awarding achievements after Sartharion died, so the game itself considers the kill as valid.

To make things clear for the last time
1. The point was to try to kill it fast, very very fast.
2. Who didn't have the achievement, got it on that kill.
3. Ofcource we wiped on the drakes, BUT they despawned and the loot was in the boss when we got there frome the graveyard. You can believe it or not. Didn't think that loot is so important to you at this situation, so i didn't fraps it.

I guess you took a feral for improved leader of the pack (heal on crits). Why exactly did you guys choose the other classes? Because of the heals through damage? Blood Aura, Blood thirst and such? Or just because of the insane Damage per second those specs/classes are doing now?

uhm isnt this gonna make ''the nightfall'' too easy; as in find 7 dps who can pull 5k ( which isnt really rare ) and get it?

since its a 70-80 sec fight; i can imagine a boomkin an ele shaman and 3-4 arcane mages spamming arcane blast and burning their mana like crazy xD

If it doesn't award loot then it shouldn't award the achievement either.
e.g. blizzard didn't intend you to kill him this way and it'll probably be fixed at a later date.

Um, they killed Sarth, got the 3 drake achievement and got the mount + 2drake loot + 1drake loot + normal loot.

The game calls it a legit 3d kill, and I'm inclined to agree.

@BBR, it DID award loot, though.
