I tried to install another UI today, which, even though i made back up's....
I decided i didn't like it, and, the serve to say, the back-up dident work.
I took this time to update some addon's and create something all my own.
This is the end result, i call it TsukiUI, after the character pictured.

Some note's -
All the shots are taken with me in a leftover raid, the colored raid frame is actually Ora.
Omen is on the right side, a mirrored version of the chat on the left.
The timer in the center is Scorchio, this could be replaced with Forte as needed.
SBF is set up to show important buffs, as well as debuffs in the center of the screen, these frames are marked unclickable so that they cant be messed with mid-battle.
The little box's are decusive, the red box is buffenough, it disappears when i am fully buffed.
The first shot looks a little funky without a target frame, but, there isn't much i can do there since i'm using the lines for SLDT.
Recount is also just kinda... There, in the bottom right, i haven't figured out what i wanna do with it yet.
My previous WIP didnt last too long. Heres my new one, the one before this one didnt work too well in raid setting.

Abandon the search for Truth; settle for a good fantasy.

Kepi, are you going to provide a download of your newest UI? I really hope you do it looks incredible, as always. :
I'm in the process of making a very flexible UI, one that I can hopefully use in all 6 environments of play in WoW: Leveling, PvP Healing, PvP DPS, Raid Healing, Raid DPS, and Raid Tanking. My general school of thought is that there should have to be no modifications when switching from one of these rolls to another. The default version of the UI should provide as much information as necessary, in a minimalistic fashion, will retaining all the functionality you want for min/maxing the above six roles.
It's still very much a work in progress, but I have some preliminary shots:
Clean | Targets | Raid | Labeled
The way it's setup now I think would work just fine for Leveling, Raid Healing, Raid DPS, and Raid Tanking. I'm still trying to setup the Aloft nameplates for a more suitable tanking situation, but that's just a matter of me sitting down and playing with the options.
The next step is to make the UI very PvP friendly, which involves integrating Gladius, Afflicted, and a few other mods into the existing layout.
Any thoughts, comments, questions, and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

this is mine....i like lightweight UI's, so i decided to make myself mine.
total memory used: less than 8MB. (i have recount activatied, so parsing in raid will use more memory, but many times i dont use it)

As it might not be completely apparent from the pic itself, my main is a Holy Priest. I've been raid healing for years now. I've long since dropped the bad habit of tunnel-visioning my raid frames during an encounter, much like dropping the oft-ridiculed clicking, keyboard turning, and backpeddling over the years.Originally Posted by subeno
After you click on a health frame to cast a spell, there's no reason to keep watching it for the next X odd seconds it takes for the spell to go off. I take advantage of this and peek back at the playing field, making any adjustments necessary. Understandably, this style of play is not suited for everyone, especially if you are prone to tunnel-visioning. For those, you can just move Grid under or to the right or left of your character in the center. I will say this though, moving the frames to the corner forced me to stop tunnel visioning. The first week it was extremely awkward, and I would often die to stupid environmental factors because I couldn't stop tunneling. After that uncomfortable period, I was a much better healer because of it. I'm more aware of what's actually going on during a fight, and I get more effective healing done because of it.
(gets off his soapbox, and back to fiddling with the UI...)
I'm an extreme perfectionist and minimalist.
