@OOMPH: YES! That is exactly the awesome UI I meant. I don't know what it is, since it's kinda simple looking at it now, but still brilliant. Also loved the castbar over mana thingy.

Haha, same! I've tried like 10 UIs with some details OOMPH did ... never made screenshots of it because I haven't succeeded in making a good one out of it.

@ Phishr: Loving the simplicity really, reminds me a bit of a Duke UI that had sex with Lyn or something. Try to get those rounded frames on more elements though, like floating healthbars and DPS meters for example. To create more unity.

True, I had some really colorful UIs back then ... I still miss my first (!) LynUI, which was on omgphatloots ... wish I had a screenshot.

I did, I found only Led's remake of one of my UIs and Savantido's UI. Sadly, not mine. Whatever.. I still know how it was made but meh.

Since we're talking about old ui stuff and i mainly lurked the UI threads on wowace/wowuigallery/ej/etc (wait, i still only lurk! ), i guess i'll ask: Is this(these?) bar texture that Care uses available anywhere? It was always pleasing to see it used!

I would open the image in AdobeShop, crop one of the party-frames, resize it to a suitable size(256x32 for example) and then greyscale it.

replace "hpframename" with whatever your health bar is called.

Yes, it's awesome. Hope you'll update it for WoD .. and, there is a custom.lua? I still use the basic one and just edit the fonts/textures, haha.
