Seeing as Lava Lash is an extra attack that gets better with Flametongue, I'd say ditch the talent. Blizzard's pushing Frostbrand for Enhancement PvP'ers. Those three points could, or should, be spent on Frozen Power.

They should have made certain talents with two sides. I could see a melee attack called Flash Freeze being the other side of Lava Lash. Lava Lash would have a 100% chance to apply a fire dmg DoT at 3/3 (33%/66%/100%) and Flash Freeze would have a 100% chance to root for the same amount of time
Entangling Roots does. It would have the break chance like Entangling Roots and be subject to DR, too.

I was thinking about something like this. My only concern is not using flametongue on the offhand and losing the spellpower bonus to burst with on shocks and LBs. Need some more insight on flametongue vs frostband and if frozen power is worth picking up at all from a pvp standpoint (due to the new and improved earthen power keeping us immune to snares, allowing us to catch a slowed target easier)
