VoA's new boss

Many of you know that there is a new boss in VoA
My point being is, will people do him?
I mean, I've tried doing him with the guild, dindt worked.
So PuG's dont even stand a change:O
Maybe an upcomming nurf?

He has been done by my Guild and also a few Pug have killed him on aree Server. So it not that hard at all.

Probably not. People who can't kill bosses shouldn't be granted great gear.

Then your guild sucks. On my server i know almost 20 of my guildies that have done it in various PuGs. It's easy as hell if the raid members have a clue on what they're doing.

I truly hope there will be no nerfs to any of the bosses out at the moment. Having said that i think its actually good that even pugs need a little "raid leading" and coordinating to get still something that classifies as free loot (and some damn good loot too).

I dont know about you, we went at it first day, took a wipe or two to trash (exploding caught us off guard), took like 3 wipes to the boss, then had it down. We made up the strat as we went and figured it out. We figured in about 3 weeks pugs would be doing it consistently, but definitely not the same kind of "eh who cares if I only do 1k dps" groups.

Its doable, its not that tough, suck less.

I just did it with pugs..
We wiped 2 times before we got him down. If you know what to do and got decent gear it's pug'able.

Cant see how we are failing at the boss, we got good gear thats np.
Buuuutt
I think its when he charges an add, you need to DIRECT dps him.
Maybe that is too slow cause we get the adds to like 5% or so xD!

Some guys pugged him on my server today, downed him 1.30 minutes before next battle

Tried yesterday, with some great folks from respected guilds.
We dident have *fast* enough dps >_>

went yesterday after uldar raid..

wiped once, then killed him..
then went to the 10man and one shot him..

whats hard about it ?
all it needs is..
1) ok geared tanks/healers
2) dps that does more than 3k dps..
3) dps that know how to switch targets to an add quickly...

I hear MANNY people fail, i failt too , ok my gear isnt SUPER, but atleast decent 2.1k dps or resto 1850 +heal
I think the idee for voa was that pugs can do it too.
manny respected guild need to try 3-4 times before they down him,
so i think its nearly impossible as pug,or you need to check all the members that you invite for their gear,
Doing and finding people for that gonna take forever.

Well. I don't think its too hard. Not at all. Its something that people actually have to pay attention. its not a fight where one person doing 4k dps can carry 2 ppl that are only doing 1.5k. Ect. Its a definite gear check for the dps. I went over the last couple days with various PuGs, and all in all wiped about 32 times, before I found a group -smart- enough to do it. Got my first piece of t8. Only warrior in the raid ftw. :P
