MI on GCD after 3.1 ?

Noticed it aswell :< It really sucks - I didnt see anything about it in the patch notes. Dunno if it's really worth spending a GCD on in PvE now

as far as i remeber its always been part of the global cooldown, i always remeber having to have it at the end of macros for cooldowns and stuff like that so im pretty sure it hasn't changed imo,

I'm sure that it has changed.
I've always been able to cast MI just after a AB or whatever - but now it goes with the GCD :<

If I remeber right AB has a cast of 1.5 sec, which I believe is the normal GCD without haste. So if you had haste, assuming haste scales AB the same it scales the GCD, which I don't know for sure if it does you would but I know that the GCD would scale faster so even after casting AB you would still be done with the GCD so casting MI would have any problem

I would cast it between 2 ABs with no GCD - I know it didn't have a GCD before but does now - unfortunate AND though bliz said they have reduced dmg from aoe - stuff like XT-002's light bomb obliterates them in one hit. GG fixing that!

The I don't really know I just know that I always had to place it at the end of my cooldown buttons (F1-F5) and macros it always had to be the last cast cause it wouldn't allow my other cooldowns to activate if I pushed it to activate

but i seem to be out numbered, and personally its a minimal DPS increase I wouldn't waste time casting it in between AB blast anyway, i only really use it use a threat drop or a regular cooldown just cause I have nothing else to do with it

It never used to cause a global cooldown no. I had a macros using it, arcane power and icy veins which never used to cause a global cooldown. As of 3.1 it does. It's annoying.

Uhhh no it has always used a GCD for me. I would pop it and Combustion and I had to do Combustion first.

Mirror Image DID NOT cause a global cooldown prior to 3.1. Perhaps it shared a cooldown with certain abilities, I don't know, but it definitely never caused a global cooldown. I'm not sure where all these claims of it causing a global cooldown prior to 3.1 are coming from. There was extensive discussion og the fact Mirror Image was causing a global cooldown on the 3.1 PTR and whether this was a bug or not, as it wasn't the case prior to 3.1.

It was change to prevent it from being macro'ed with cooldowns.
