I was under the impression that if you hit someone for 6k and it says 2k overkill, that means you took away 4k of his HP and the rest was overkill?

Not that you did 6k damage and 2k more was overkill.

    This is not something new.

The dmg done by UA when dispelled could crit back in BC. And it is huge for a reason.. that's the point of the spell.

While i approve of critting DoT's as a DPS/Damage boost, i don't quite think they're meant to go for as much as some normal direct damage crits.

I'm not calling for a nerf, more of a review of how much they crit for.

I do have a question for the locks out there; If Siphon Life or Drain Life damage effect crits, does the heal crit too?

drain life cant crit, but if corruption crits its siphon life healing effect will also 'crit' (cause it heals you for the % of damage done)

but this on the screenshot has nothing to do with recent changes, as it was already said, its there from bc

Go hit a test dummy with 1 hp and you'll have your answer.

dummies dont heal you from siphon life what ever dmg you do they heal for 1
my siphon heals around 500 from an ordinary 1k tick
it heals 1k when i crit 2,5k+ , you recieve %40 percent of any dmg your corruption does

    Re: 8k unstable affliction crit

thats the big deal of unstable affliction, giving damage if dispelled.. or else its just another corruption with cast time.. thats why its so deep in the tree..

    nerf it... lmaoz
