How many people how downed this guy on 10 man? Just curious.

Taking a blind guess I'd say prolly 60-70% of the actively raiding WoW playerbase...

No idea how many players uses World of Logs, but so far, we've got 123 registered kills for that guy (and 655 wipes); the kill-death ratio is worse than Loot Leviathan but this still puts him solidly in the free loot category - other bosses often have a 1:20 or worse ratio.

Personally, after wiping two days in UD25 on Razorscale & XT-002, we went UD10 on a Saturday just for fun and steamrolled him on the first try - he's not really a challenge, I bet the majority of the WoW players will figure out how to kill him in an hour or two.

We got him down on ten man after 2-3 tries

Got the BoE cloak the same as you guys but not the weapon, think we had some leather boots, cant remember exactly :P

10 man is a joke.
25 man is hard.

Yep killed him already. Have Mimiron, vezax and Yoggy (Assembly of Iron and Ignis Skiped) left.

10men is rly easy.

first try we started him without knowing any tactic.


second try we saw his low hitpoints and tried to zerg him down, without any tactic. just damage the boss... wiped at 10% because too much died on the hand.

third try, he died before anyone died... i rly easy fight.


in 25 he is a lot harder... we tried him for about 1 hour yesterday, and rly have to train him a little bit more

Took us a total of 4 attempts to down him in 10 man last night. Our strategy entailed blowing Heroism and cooldowns to nuke the first arm down in a few seconds then DPS the boss as hard as possible. Think we had him to 55% or so before the next arm spawned.

First couple tries we did run into issues with Squeezed Lifeless being used just a couple seconds after he would grab someone or the person still being gripped even after the arm was dead. Bugs aside Kologarn is pretty easy in 10-man. Tanking neck and caster hit ring for loots.

People really overthink this encounter

My 10 man group I run did the following:

Right arm dps --> kill rubble --> body dps --> offtank taunt off for debuff --> right arm spawn --> main tank re-taunt --> rinse/repeat from step 1

2 shotted it using this method. People just have to move out of the eyebeams
