Maybe you should look up how our overpower proc works. Really it is a little bit of RNG to be able to overpower a cast, and we lose out on damage if we try waiting for it too much. (So it requires a decent knowledge of when that caster is going to cast an actual heal and not instant so you know when to spare your overpower).
