hit cap for hunters in arena

Hello Guys

I (survival hunter) recently started my 2s arena team with a resto druid. I would like to know is there any hit cap in PVP also? I am at 82 hit rating atm and I do notice that sometimes my shot miss on plate wearers. Should I stack more hit ratings, I have Grim Troll trinklet which I use for PVE purpose.
Shall I replace my Battlemaster trinket/ Platanium Disks of battle with Grim Troll to stack more hit rating?
Your advise is greatly appreciated.

afaik the ranged hit cap vs players is somewhere around 160 for 2hand melee and ranged, i'm no hunter though.

It's slightly higher vs NElfs afaik.

6% is hardcapped right? Thought 5% was softcap..? Since I have had 164 hit rating for ages (exactly 5%) and I never really miss that I can remind myself of..

Correct me if I'm wrong.
